I'm not sure who even pays attention to my blog anymore since its been neglected for so long! I really hope to get better at bogging this summer. I'm going to try and make this post short and sweet.
Back in February my family headed up to Riverton, Wyoming to visit Tanner. Tanner had a college basketball game, it was his birthday, and he was opening his mission call all during this one weekend. He had a lot going on! Here are some pictures of our weekend in {bitter cold} Riverton.
Tanner's Mission call! He's been called to serve in the Louisville, Kentucky mission! He leaves May 29! |

My birthday was on the 13th of this month. I can't believe that I'm 24! That sounds so OLD! For my birthday this year I mostly got stuff for Hawaii. My hubby and my parents bought me a few pairs of shorts so I'll be prepared for our hot and humid summer. We went down to Payson to celebrate my birthday. I still love going home for birthdays and holidays! My cousin Jackson was born on my 13th birthday, so we usually celebrate our birthdays together. We are 'Birthday Buddies!' Here are some more pics:

So our summer in paradise is ALMOST here!!! Petey's internship is with Chevron on the island of Oahu. We are very grateful that we are getting money to help us relocate!! Our rent will be nearly 3X the amount we pay a month in Logan. We won't have a car and we'll only be able to take what fits in our suitcases. This summer will be an amazing adventure! I'm still in disbelief that this is actually happening. My last day of work is this Wednesday. YAY!!!!!!!!!! It will be nice to have a break from work :) Petey will leave May 8th for Hawaii and I will stay behind for a few weeks. Since Tanner leaves on his mission May 29th, I'm just going to live with my parents until then, and then I'll join Petey. Every time I think about him leaving I cry...so expect a sappy post once he leaves! I wish I could go with Petey when he goes to help get everything settled, but I feel like I need to be with my little brother. If I missed all of his pre-mission activities I don't think I'd be able to forgive myself. Too bad flying back and forth is so darn expensive! We've gotten a lot of suggestions on what to do, where to go, and what places to eat while we'll be in Oahu, but we'd love more suggestions! My parents are going to come visit us this summer! I'm really looking forward to that! I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a job in Oahu...so I might just hang out at the beach all day. One nice thing about Petey's internship is that every other week he'll get a 3-day weekend!! Any visitors are welcome to come and visit this summer :)
Well there you have it. Hopefully a short-ish post about our last few months! I'll try and blog again soon!
